The Hot Rocks bike ride in Rockwall is Saturday, Aug 13, 2016. Ham radio operators supply all communications for this event and they need all the help they can get. Start time at 5:30am and finish is about noon — It all helps the Rockwall Rotary Club support the youth in our area. Its a great opportunity to get in some net practice too. Food and T-shirt included.

I’d like to ask you to put your thinking cap on and ponder what sort of classes or activities you’d like to be involved in at Tech Net on the Hill this October. Would you like to learn more about stealth antennas or kit building? Would you like to learn how to trim a dipole, or would you just like to get on the air using the club’s HF rigs? Come to tomorrow’s (8/2/2016) meeting and share, or send us a message with the form below. I’ll have my notes from past years, and I suspect Randy will, too…but if you don’t speak up for what you want, you might not get it.
