Passing along an invite: The North Texas Microwave Society is holding an FT-8 informal net on 2 meters (144.174 USB) starting about 7:30 pm central time on all Monday’s. Be sure to try and work the Ducie Island 2018 DXpedition and VP6D – Ducie Island is a small tiny island in the South Pacific Ocean that is part of the Pitcairn Islands. The remote expedition runs from Oct 20th – Nov 3 2018.

New Digital Mode From K1JT – FT8
Steve(K9AN) and Joe(K1JT) have developed a potential new mode for WSJT-X. They are calling the mode “FT8” (Franke-Taylor design, 8-FSK modulation)
