2020 Winter Field Day


Come join Winter Field Day 2020 fun – a tri-club event that includes the Dallas Amateur Radio Club, Metrocrest Amateur Radio Club and the Irving Amateur Radio Club. This is an open public invitation – you don’t even need to have a HAM Radio license or a call sign to participate . The tri-club event will be operating under the special event call sign K5T and operating as 3I NTX. Details below.

The Tri-Club Special Event Station K5T will be operating as 3I NTX from Alford Media Services at 296 Freeport Parkway Copell TX 75019. Setup time begins Sat Jan 25, 2020 at 10:30am – on air activities begin promptly at 1pm that day and run until Sat Jan 25, 2020 10pm. This location will be indoors, environmentally controlled and very comfy away from the weather, and other outdoor annoyances. See the map below for location.

This is a POT-Luck event for Lunch, Dinner and any snacks. There will be water, coffee, and ice provided; soft-drinks are $0.50 on site from a machine and there are snacks in vending machines. KF5ZBL (Bill Brady) has donated Hot Dogs grilled on location and all the normal fixins.
