The DARC Lecture and lab is coming up, and it’s going to be a fun one: we’ll be focusing on Anderson Power Poles, and there will be lots of easy, useful projects to build. Let us know which ones you’re interested in!

There aren’t too many contests this weekend, but there’s a QSO party in Arkansas, as well as a Straight-Key Century Club Sprintathon.

Army MARS Crossband Test: May 11th, 2019

From the Army Mars website:

The Army Military Auxiliary Radio System (MARS) will host this year’s Armed Forces Day (AFD) Crossband Test on Saturday May 11, 2019. This annual event is open to all licensed amateur radio operators. For more than 50 years, military and amateur stations have taken part in this event, which is only an exercise scenario, designed to include hobbyist and government radio operators alike.
