It’s a lot of fun to help people become new ham operators! Unfortunately, several members of our VE team either have health concerns, or are close to those who do. So, in order to minimize risks to ourselves, our loved ones, and the ham community, we’ve decided to cancel the DARC VE session tomorrow, 3/14/2020, at the Business Jet Center at 8611 Lemmon Ave.
I’m sorry dash your hopes if you were hoping to get licensed or to upgrade—but you can always use the extra time to study for the next exam up.
Would you like to have help in studying for your Extra Class license? The Richardson Wireless Klub is organizing a study group. There will be 14 sessions, from 6:00PM – 8:30PM on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning February 19th, 2019 and ending on Thursday, April 4th when the Extra Class test will be given by the RWK VE Team. If you have the determination to succeed, act fast: there were just four participant slots left as of the DARC meeting on the night of 2/5/2019.
