The MS-150 Bike Ride, benefiting the National MS Society, urgently needs more volunteers for the weekend of May 4th and 5th, 2024. The long-time event route has changed to be largely SOUTH of the DFW area, causing many long-time “regulars” to be unavailable. Lifewalk is tomorrow! Water stop operators should be on location and on the air by 11:30 am. Other operators should report to the DARC net control station by 9:30 am. We’ll be in the parking lot behind the big, white house in Oak Lawn (formerly Lee) Park. Walk in volunteers are welcome. Bring an HT, a spare battery, and a mag-mount antenna (if you have one) if you’d like to join up.

We’ve received a last-minute request to help the Denton County Amateur Radio Association. They have a public service event coming up this Saturday, Sept. 30th, 2017. Gerald Marchant of DCARA says:
