The next DARC “Lecture and Lab” is set for Saturday, Feb 22, 2025 at 10am (central) You will be soldering and assembling a basic multi color electronic clock for your shack or night stand.

This will be a fun and exciting DIY kit.  A Great  way to get started with soldering and/or brush up on your soldering skills.   After assembly this is a complete kit with case and 5v/USB power cable. (if you have an extra Pi/USB 5v charger bring one with you, will have some to test with so not needed, but will be needed at home)

The DARC will have 20 kits on hand and it will be first come first served at the Dallas Medical Center 3rd Floor community room (same place as the club meetings)   Plan on starting at 10am and will go until everybody is done with the assembly or 2-3pm that day.   

Basic soldering tools are all that is needed – but if you don’t have any or just a small selection – that is okay, we will have some extras to share.   There are NO surface mount components to solder.   Cost of the kit will be $10.00.  This is an open invite – you do NOT need to be a DARC member to participate.
