The DARC Lecture And Lab for August 24, 2024 you will be building from scratch a DIY power supply that outputs 53.5AMPs+ of 14v – USB charger, dual output 45AMP Anderson Power Poles, illuminated on/off switch and a voltage output LED display. The kit will be available for purchase onsite that day – first come first served. More Details below.

The DARC hosts a Lab and Lecture on the fourth Saturday of each month that is open to any licensed or unlicensed individual – no need to even be a member of the DARC.

The August 2024 DARC Lecture And Lab DIY Power Supply Build will get started Sat Aug 24, 2024 at 10am central at the Dallas Medical Center (7 Medical Pkwy, Farmers Branch, TX 75234) on the 3rd floor (it is the same room the for the club meetings) . There is enough for 20 kits and the kit cost is $35.00 and includes everything you need to assemble the DIY power supply.

For this kit build you will need your soldering iron and tools to assemble the kit along with some Anderson Power Pole crimpers. Also would be good to have a volt ohm meter on hand and any other assembly tools you would normally use to solder. (don’t worry if you don’t have power pole crimpers – will have some on site you can use)
