Plan A just wasn’t good enough, so surprise net tonight will feature Plan Bee! There will be no math and nothing too difficult. Join us on tonight at 19:00 local time on the 146.88 repeater.
I’ll probably add more links after the net…but here’s a great one to get started with if you’d like to help carry out Plan Bee: https://www.pollinator.org/pollinator.org/assets/generalFiles/pollinator-garden-cards_texas.pdf
And if that one was too simple for you, a more comprehensive guide is here: https://www.pollinator.org/PDFs/PrairieParklandSubtrp.rx3.pdf

Saturday’s DARC SkyNet is at 9PM CT.
ARRL Field Day is the single most popular on-the-air event held annually in the US and Canada and is open to all license classes. On the fourth weekend of June of each year, more than 35,000 radio amateurs gather with their clubs, groups or simply with friends and family to operate from remote locations. Field Day is a picnic, a campout, practice for emergencies, an informal contest and, most of all, FUN! However, due to the on-going COVID pandemic the DARC/W5FC will NOT be hosting a club/group event for 2021. Instead, in accordance with the ARRL guide lines for 2021 you can work as an individual station such as a 1D NTX, or 1E NTX and have your individual score count towards the DARC club score. We hope that you will participate as this is such a fun event and the more stations on the air the more fun it will be. Stay tuned in on this web frequency we will have more information coming – or drop in on DARC Discord Channel and say hello and join the Discord DARC Field Day 2021 channel for even more interaction, fun and giveaways.
