The DARC Lecture And Lab for Oct 24, 2020 will be virtual via Google Meet! Join us at 11am Central Time from the comfort and safety of your home/location. In this virtual Lab And Lecture, We will be building from scratch a 1.5lb LiFePO4 4S 7Ah battery pack – complete with BMS and much more. The kit will be available for purchase from Bill, KF5ZBL prior to the meeting. Details below.

The DARC hosts a Lab and Lecture on the fourth Saturday of each month that is open to any licensed or unlicensed individual – no need to even be a member of the DARC. Due to the pandemic situation of the COVID-19 virus, we will be doing Lecture And Lab virtually using Google Meet with a start time of 11am. See the DARC event calendar for any and all meetings and links to join them via Google Meet.

The October DARC Virtual Lecture And Lab DIY Battery Build will get started virtually Sat Oct 24, 2020 at 11am central. For this LnL you will need to purchase the complete battery kit from Bill – KF5ZBL for $35.00 Plan on meeting Bill the week before on Saturday Oct 17, 2020 from 10:30am – 11:30am (central time) in the parking lot of the Dallas Medical Center – The same meeting location for the club meetings. The kits are offered on a first come first served basis for $35.00. Access the DARC virtual LnL meeting with a supported device of your choice – Please review our getting started guide to virtual events prior to attending for a positive virtual meeting experience. (Google Chrome browser works best with speakers and a Mic on your computer, if you don’t have Mic or speakers you can use the dial in info in the meeting link on the calendar)

If you want a kit then plan on meeting Bill Oct 17, 2020 from 10:30-11:30 in the parking lot of the Dallas Medical Center – please fill out this form and list us know – we have enough for about 15 kits. You will need your soldering iron and tools to assemble the kit along with some Anderson Power Pole crimpers. As of Oct 6, 2020 all kits have been purchased !!!
