2019 DARC ARRL Field Day

Come join in the ARRL Field Day 2019 fun with the Dallas Amateur Radio Club. This is an open invitation – you don’t even need to have a HAM Radio license or call sign. The DARC will be operating from a new and exciting location – we will NOT be at Flag Pole Hill in Dallas. ARRL Field Day actually starts on the air activities at 1pm Saturday June 22, 2019 and runs until Sunday June 23, 2019. The Club will be operating as 3A during the entire time.

The DARC will be operating 3A from Alford Media Services at 296 Freeport Parkway Copell TX 75019. We will also be hosting a GOTA (Get On The Air Station). Setup time begins Sat June 22, 2019 at 10am – on air activities begin promptly at 1pm that day and run until the event ends at Sunday June 23, 2019 1pm. This new location will be indoors, environmentally controlled and very comfy away from the heat, bugs and other outdoor annoyances. See the map below for location.

DARC will provide our traditional BBQ Dinner served around 7-7:30pm Sat June 22, 2019 – we are requesting a donation of $10.00 per person donation to help offset the cost of the event, food and festivities. (Yea there is a movie at 10:30pm on a giant screen in 4K with an amazing sound system) Food is first come first served event.

Review the sign up sheet above and reserve your preferred radio and operating time by filling in the form below – check back for confirmation. If you reserve a time, please plan on operating during that time slot, reservations take preference vs walk-ups.

Questions or comments please drop us a note at: https://w5fc.org/contact/

One last thing – the DARC has created a shared photo gallery for everybody to share their event photos – so please consider sharing your photos if you take some while attending Field Day 2019 with the DARC: https://photos.app.goo.gl/H7bFAEBpAJtPH6h38
