Dallas CERT Radio Day in the Park
Dallas CERT will be having its first-ever Radio Day in the Park this coming Sunday, December 4th, 2016, from 1-4 PM.
The location of a simulated CERT Command Post (CP) to support this event will be at Dreyfuss Point in White Rock Lake Park. The address is 564 East Lawther Drive, Dallas, TX. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to locate (very visible — look for the CERT signs).

DARC Field Day 2016 Results

Results of the ARRL Field Day 2016 have been posted on the arrl.com website – The DARC crew under the W5FC scored 5,216pts, logged 1,106 QSOs and placed 4th in the NTX section. You can view the database results yourself here at this link. Good job, great fun! Thanks to all that participated and helped with the event we look forward to another fun event in 2017.
New Dallas CERT Classes Dec 2016

Dallas CERT promotes a partnering effort between emergency services and the citizens of Dallas. The goal is for emergency personnel to train members of neighborhoods, community organizations, or workplaces in basic emergency response skills. There are new classes starting in Dec 2016 which are free but require pre-registration – see the details below and or hit this link to sign up.
