Sat Oct 15, 2016 – The W5FC AREDN mesh node was installed and is now up and operational.
The node is currently running in the “HAM Band” on channel -2 (2.397Ghz) with 5Mhz channel width. Access is possible from local parks including Flag Pole Hill in Dallas. The Antenna is a airMAX Omni from UBNT – AMO-2G13 and is paried up with a UBNT Rocket M2 Radio. Services running on the node include MeshChat.
