NASA is setting in motion the Orion spacecraft production line to support as many as 12 Artemis missions, including the mission that will carry the first woman and next man to the Moon by 2024.

Black Hole Visualization:

NASA released a new visualization of a black hole to illustrate how its gravity distorts our view, warping its surroundings as if seen in a carnival mirror.

September 23:
Apollo 11 Astronauts Swarmed by Thousands In Mexico City Parade.
1969: Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins donned sombreros and ponchos in Mexico as they were greeted by a crowd of thousands eager to see and meet the astronauts. September 25:
2012: Researchers released a photo, known as eXtreme Deep Field, or XDF. It is a composite of 10 years’ worth of observations by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope. September 27:
2007: NASA’s Dawn Mission​ became the first spacecraft to launch on a mission to closely study multiple objects in our solar system’s asteroid belt. September 28:
