The next club meeting will be a week from this Tuesday, on November 7th. The program will be by Dr. Tim, N6DIY. He’ll be giving a neat presentation about some pretty unusual antenna stuff; we’ll have more details to share as we get closer to the meeting day.

In contesting, the CQ WW DX SSB contest is going on right now! This is a big one…why not give it a try? And of course, the ARRL November Sweepstakes are coming up as well.

An amazing transatlantic contact was made this week: 10 mW at 8.27 kHz from Newfoundland to the UK!. And as you would expect, CW traffic handling helped loved ones stay in touch after Hurricane Irma.
